​​Visas are available at the Khasab Oman Border Crossing for UAE resident visa holders and tourist visa holders. Oman now offers visa-free entry to GCC residents depending on their nationality, but you still need to carry original passports for stamping.​ The UAE exit fee​ is 35 AED​ per person. The Oman visa fee is 5 OMR (50 AED) per person. The total cost per person is 85 AED.

◘  Single-entry visa holders are not allowed; their visas will be canceled on exit from the UAE.

◘  If you have a sponsored (dependent) visa, then the sponsor must be traveling along.

After border crossing and passport checking, follow the Coastal Road, which is the only safe and reliable land connection between Khasab Musandam and the UAE.

Personal & Rent Vehicles

If you have a rental car, take the NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the rental company. This essential document confirms that you have permission to take the vehicle across borders, preventing any potential issues during your trip.

When traveling with a personal vehicle, it is essential to ensure that you have all required documentation, including vehicle registration and insurance.  If your car insurance does not include Oman coverage, you will need to purchase it at the border.  The cost for insurance is 100 AED per vehicle.
