The next stop is the stunning Jebel Al Harim known as the “Mountain of Women” which is the highest peak on the Peninsula. Jabel Al Harim is 2087 meters above the sea-level and you have stunning views on top. In addition, at the top, you will find rocks with surprisingly well-preserved fossils, which include ancient sea creatures such as fish, shells, and many trilobites.

• Oman has recently implemented a visa-free policy for numerous nationalities.
• Oman visa fee: 5 OMR each & UAE exit fee: 35 AED each.
•The border is open 24 hours a day for visas, and PCR or vaccination is not required to enter Khasab, Oman.
• An arrival visa requires a passport that is valid for at least three months.
• If you are a UAE resident, your resident visa must be valid for 3 months.
• All visitors must have original passports to cross the border.
• Visa is available at the border or you can apply online at https://evisa.rop.gov.om/.
• For the personal car, you must have vehicle registration (mulkya); if Oman insurance
is not covered, you can buy it from the border for 100 AED.
• You need a NOC for rental cars to cross the border. Ask your rental company for a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
